October Smalls SAL

10/27/2016
Hello and Happy almost Halloween.
It's the last Thursday of the month which means it's time for my Smalls SAL update, sponsored by Heather at Stitching Lotus.  It's always great fun to see what everyone else is stitching.

Where to start.  How about baby cards?  I work for a company that has a lot of young people and yes, they are doing what young people do...making babies. Cards below are all for co-workers and the baby blocks are for another co-worker due in November.  Whew, don't drink the water in my office. Sorry the one card is the wrong direction.  Obviously, I need one of my co-workers to help me with my technology :)  Patterns for these are from a variety of sources and if you are interested in any, let me know  in the comments section and I'll respond.

Next,  how about some Christmas?  Again, a variety of sources, let  me know if you need info on anything.

And a couple of other pieces that were stitched for WOCS.  I stitched the pattern on the left first and when I rinsed it, the colors bled so I restitched it. It's Diamond 19 from Connie Gee's 2015-2016 Diamond SAL.

This one is for my youngest son's soccer coach.  The season is over and while the team did better than last year, they did not make the playoffs.  My son has had this coach since he was a freshman in high school and  we will all be sad to no longer have her in our lives.  The pattern is partially mine and partially from Cross Stitch Card shop.

And last but not least, "Butterfly Baby" by Ellen Maurer-Stroh.  I love her "babies". This is for one of my co-workers and I changed the wing colors at his request.  The sideways baby card is for the same co-worker.

That's all that I have  completed thus far, but it is only the 27th and I have a TON of Christmas cards in the works.  Expect another October post.

Happy Stitching!

Michele
